Bear is just settling down to relax in the forest when Rabbit and Mole amble down the path. They are starting a band. Would Bear like to join in? Bear just wants a bit of peace and quiet, but the woodland animals are having such a great (noisy) time that they don’t notice.

Jane says...

This story popped into my head one morning, fully formed. I love the rhythm of the words as the animals make their music. Maybe it was inspired by a film I saw at the cinema about a rock band? It made me laugh anyway to think of all these animals forming a band deep in the forest, blissfully unaware of how annoying unwanted music can be.
